The PRIMA research project held its annual meeting at Konventum outside of Helsingør, Denmark, 07-08 September 2023.
Representatives from each partner presented the current research and latest results from baseline studies and interventions. The participants discussed proposals for future papers and reviews.
The annual meeting had a special guest, Jens Walter, Professor of Ecology, Food, and the Microbiome, APC Microbiome Ireland, School of Microbiology, and Department of Medicine University College Cork, Cork, Ireland. Prof. Walter presented ‘Restoration and precision modulation of the human gut microbiome through fiber-based dietary interventions’. Prof. Walter participated in the discussions of the presentations and offered insight to various results of the project.
PRIMA (towards Personalized dietary Recommendations based on the Interaction between diet, Microbiome and Abiotic conditions in the gut) is a Challenge Grant funded by the Novo Nordisk Fonden.
